Wash your hands first! Then be careful in adjusting them yourself because you may scratch the lenses.  Many people have experienced their sunglasses sliding off frequently. This can make them feel very uncomfortable on your face.

If you cannot come to our office to get them adjusted here are a few tips.  If you decide to try adjusting your sunglasses the first thing you should do is put on your sunglasses.

  • Start by looking in the mirror to identify precisely where the discomfort is occurring.
  •  The screws on your sunglasses may need replaced or tightened.
  • Be careful! – Adjust the arms of the sunglasses slowly and gently with your fingers or a pair of needle-nose pliers.

In addition, making a small, corrective bend in one arm is also very important. See our video to help you or come to our office and we will be glad to work with you!
