The New England Patriots are champions of Super Bowl 49! With a killer finish, Tom Brady led the Patriots to victory over the Seattle Seahawks which included coming back from behind by 10 points in the 4th Quarter. Brady threw 4 touchdown passes and set a new Super Bowl record for the number of touchdown passes thrown in Super Bowls played. Joe Montana previously held the record with 11 touchdowns and Tom Brady now holds the new record with 13 touchdown strikes.
Tom Brady had a lot of help from his teammates, including a last minute interception on the goal line by defensive player Malcolm Butler who picked off Russell Wilson to secure the victory. The Seattle Seahawks, owned by Microsoft Co-founder Paul Allen, will return to the west coast to reorganize their game plan for next season. Meanwhile, The New England Patriots, owned by billionaire Robert Kraft, will return to Boston to celebrate their championship!
