The time is finally here! The Bluff City Blues 100 Ride to Fight on is this coming Saturday October 11, 2014 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. This signature event has routes for cyclists of all skill levels, novice to elite, and distances of 20, 40, 62, 100, and 124 miles. Thousands of cyclists have been training for months and raising money to help fight the war on cancer. This year more than $350,000 has been raised so far in partnership with The Memphis Hightailers and The West Cancer Center. The ride has been organized to support anyone who has been touched by cancer.
Thousands of riders will descend upon the streets of Memphis for the big event. Each rider has been training for months and will make sure their gear is all ready for the start of the ride. Bikers will be equipped with their bikes, helmets, water bottles, gloves, spare tires, and other protective gear including safety eyewear.
